Inspiring the next generation of scientists: FIZMIX knowledge contest & Elektrum Physics Festival 2025

Curiosity unites and inspires — and in 2025, FIZMIX and Elektrum proved it. To mark the 30th anniversary of the FIZMIX Knowledge Contest, it was turned into a nationwide story highlighting the importance of STEM for students, parents, and teachers. A total of 222 school teams joined the contest, while more than 170 media stories shaped a broad public conversation about science and its role in education.

The celebration culminated in the Elektrum Physics Festival, where an engaging campaign and diverse program brought together over 4,000 visitors, making it one of the year’s most memorable science events.
